Welcome to The Tactical Flashlight

We’re a small family business based in Minnesota — husband, wife, son, and our three loyal Goldendoodles. This shop is more than just flashlights — it’s a tribute to someone special: Greg, my father, my wife’s father-in-law, and our son’s grandfather, who passed away on March 21, 2023.

Greg had a quiet passion for flashlights. Over the years, his collection grew — not out of obsession, but appreciation for a good, dependable tool. After he passed, we found flashlights tucked into every drawer, glove box, and basement shelf. He wasn’t picky about brands or features — he just valued reliable light when it was needed most.

As a kid, I remember the big battery-hungry flashlights of the '80s — the kind we lovingly called "The Beam." As an adult, I’d gift Greg modern LED flashlights, rechargeable and bright. Watching his face light up while unboxing those was a joy I’ll never forget. Now that love has passed to my son, who uses flashlights to create adventures in his playroom.
